Support

How can we help?

A small team made Cue. The same people built it, maintain it, and answer email. There's no support tier — every message goes straight to one of us.

The questions we get most

Probably already answered.

  • All three. Library + collections + presentations cover the catalog and pitching jobs (sync, A&R, EPK). Rounds + voice notes + Hone cover the feedback loop. The track-detail scratchpad covers self-review on your own mixes. See the three jobs section on the welcome page for the shape.
  • Disco is the standard catalog + sharing tool — they're great at file management, branded playlists, watermarking. Cue does that competently and keeps going into the actual review work: timestamped comments, voice notes that transcribe, AI-rewritten engineer language, takes that stack with notes that survive, reply threads, and a self-review scratchpad. Full breakdown in the Cue vs Disco doc.
  • WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, M4A, up to 500 MB. Cue stores the original byte-perfect and transcodes a 320 kbps proxy for the streaming player. The original is never touched.
  • Canonical share links (Listen + Collab) are standing — same URL every time you open the Share popover on a round. They don't expire unless you set an explicit expiry. Per-recipient links (from approved access requests) can be revoked individually.
  • Voice notes are gated by share visibility. On a Listen-only share, only you (the creator) see them. On a Collab share where "comments visible to guests" is on (default for round Collab shares), every approved guest sees each other's notes — that's the collaboration the kind exists for. Voice files themselves are never public; playback URLs are signed and short-lived.
  • Click hone on your own voice note or text comment. Cue sends the source text to OpenAI's gpt-4o-mini with a prompt that rewrites casual feedback into mixing-engineer vocabulary. Result is cached on the comment so re-opens don't re-bill. The original is preserved — toggle show original any time. See the Hone docs for the full picture.
  • Email us at hello@cue.re from the address on the account. We'll confirm + soft-delete within one business day; permanent purge happens 30 days later (gives you time to change your mind).
  • Not yet. Cue is free during early access. When paid plans launch, early-access users get a discount as a thank-you. Higher catalog limits, custom EPK domains, team seats, and priority transcription are all on the Pro roadmap.
